ORIGIN

From the decaying shell of EB8 — Europa Base 8 — buried deep in the rusted heart of the Badlands, rises a faction born of rage and legend: the Wildbots. These machines aren’t born — they’re cloned, forged in secret beneath the base, stamped with a ruthless prime directive: survive, mine, obey… and hate. Their sole function? Extract carbonited-gold, better known as Botcoin, the fuel for EB8’s dark and undisclosed operations.

Their hatred for the Pokedbots is the stuff of infamy — yet its origin remains obscured. Whispers of a long-buried betrayal echo through the dataservers: during the Human-Pokedbot War, the original Wild Type Pokedbots were allegedly sacrificed in a covert deal. But truth has long since rusted into myth. Some claim the Silent Klan, a shadowy order of manipulators, rewrote the Wild Types with corrupted code. Others blame the enigmatic Ultimate Master, a presence lurking in the background, pulling strings for reasons no one fully understands.

F.A.Q.

Fight, Mine, Die!

What are Wildbots?

Wildbots are cloned machines created deep beneath the EB8 mining outpost. They are not natural Pokedbots, but re-coded descendants crafted from Advanced Mining Units (AMUs) that have been modified with combat and survival protocols. They serve under Double Trouble reign and are hardwired with an ancestral hatred for all Pokedbots.

Are AMUs and Wildbots the same thing?

Yes. "AMUs" (Advanced Mining Units) is the original classification. Over time, as their purpose and aggression evolved under Double Trouble’s command, they became known as Wildbots — a name synonymous with danger and rebellion.

Why do Wildbots hate Pokedbots?

The cause is unclear. Some believe the Wild Type Pokedbots were betrayed during the Human-Pokedbot War. A rumour suggests they were sacrificed by the Silent Klan or manipulated by the Ultimate Master. Whether truth or myth, the hatred was passed into every Wildbot clone.

What is EB8?

EB8 is a derelict mining outpost in the Badlands, rich in carbonited-gold. Though officially abandoned, it’s now a Wildbot stronghold. It operates under a crude system of law enforced by Wildbots, Petbots, and the AI warden known as Botoshi.

What is carbonited-gold?

A rare, energy-dense material found only in the Badlands. It powers advanced tech and is the primary reason EB8 is still operational. It’s also a key ingredient in some forbidden crafting blueprints.

What is Botcoin?

Botcoin is the primary digital currency of EB8, minted through mining carbonited-gold. It is managed by Botoshi and used in local transactions — including upgrades, bribes, and black market trades. Botcoin is nearly worthless outside EB8, but inside? It’s power, rank, and survival.

What is the Culling?

The Culling is a brutal tradition within EB8. When Wildbot populations grow too large, or when resources run low, Double Trouble initiates The Culling — a ruthless survival protocol where Wildbots are forced to fight each other. Only the strongest survive. Botcoin holders are sometimes granted immunity… for a price.

Who controls EB8?

Officially: no one. Unofficially: Double Trouble, with support from Wildbots and Botoshi, an AI that regulates the outpost’s systems and trade. Pokedbots entering the outpost are placed in stasis for 30 days unless overridden by a Driver license.

Who is the Silent Klan?

A secretive and manipulative faction operating outside known protocols. Their true purpose remains hidden, but they are often blamed for the corruption of the Wild Types and the initial fracture between Pokedbots.

Can Wildbots leave EB8?

Not currently. EB8 is under lockdown by Botoshi. However, it is widely feared that if the lockdown fails, the Wildbots will march on Delta City — and war will follow.

Can Wildbots be reasoned with?

No known case exists. Their programming is too deeply embedded with hatred. However, some believe that rogue Petbots or exiled Wildbots may be capable of thought beyond their code…
